EMS Instructor Course Application

Class Information: 

ETA is offering a hybrid EMS Instructor / Educational Methodology course. This course is required for certification as a PA EMS Instructor and is also acepted by the PA State Fire Department for credentialing as a state Fire Instructor.

Upon successful completion of the course, students are given a certificate of completion. Candidates must then complete other state requirements for credentialing as an instructor. To be certified as an EMS Instructor, students must complete 20 hours of supervised instruction and obtain a letter of recommedation from a PA licensed EMS Training Institute. Candidates must also possess a valid certification as an EMT or higher and have at least one year experience as a provider.

Course Cost: $400

The course begins on November 8th with the orientaion session. Students then have until January 10, 2019 to complete the course, including a final presentations. Final presentations will take place on January 10, 2019 beginning at 6:00p unless other arrangements are made.

Payment is due at time of registration unless your organization is paying for the course, in which case you can fax the letter of intent as described above.
