Do you know a child age 9 to 16 that is interested in emergency services or the medical field? Are you looking for a safe, fun, and educational place to send your child this summer? If so, we have just the place - Camp EMS!Throughout the week, campers will learn about first aid and safety in fun ways. And every day will include an exciting activity or field trip including a visit to an ambulance station, fire house, Hospital Emergency Department, and police station, as well as a visit from a medical helicopter. Our program is divided into two age groups; 9 to 12 year olds and 13 to 16 year olds. While both groups will learn about the exciting world of emergency services and safety, the older group will become certified in CPR and first aid techniques. WIth this certification, they will have the ability to gain summer jobs as babysitters and camp counselors. For children interested in babysitting, there is an option to take the BLAST training to learn the skills of successful babysitting.
